United States Population Counter

The flash movie above pulls world population data from the US Census Bureau. The data is displayed in the form of a split-flap counter. As you watch, the counter updates itself every 30 seconds or so. It also calculates the number of births, deaths, and people that have moved into the US while you have been on the page. This population counter is also available as a free screensaver.
