NewsAnnouncements

  • Students should practice math on Studyisland.com. They may do Place Value, Adding and Subtracting Decimals, Metric Units, and Perimeter, Area, and Volume. They should make at least an 80%. Please encourage them to do this. Remind them not to play games until they have reached 80%

  • Please continue to practice multiplication facts with your child. It is extremely important that they can recall them from memory. Most of what we do this year is related to multiplication.

  • We will be testing on Unit 3 on Monday. Please review comparing numbers, adding/subtracting decimals, place value, and graphing with your child.

  • Homework Support: Help is on the way! Everyone is getting used to the new textbook adoption this year! I try my best to give your students ten examples for each topic covered in math, but I can do more! I will register on www.teachertube.com under the name KIKEELS. I will post tutorials of skills we cover in math AS OFTEN AS I CAN! I hope this helps you and your child! Please ENCOURAGE your child to take notes in class, though! They are responsible for their learning!
