• Each theater student is required to attend “1” theatrical production each semester. It is a test grade. He/she is welcome to attend more for extra credit, but they MUST attend at least one. There are plenty of opportunities for this requirement. October 2, 2010, the Alba Golden Red Carpet Co. will present Joe and a Show 4 at 7:00. Tickets are $5.00. Other opportunities are available throughout this area. Mineola, Lindale, Quitman, and Emory have productions throughout each semester. Please encourage your child to attend a production early and not wait to the last 6 weeks. If he/she chooses to attend a production at Alba, there will be a sign in sheet at the door. They will also have to bring me the program and have it signed by a cast member. If he/she attends a production at one of our neighboring communities, they will need to bring back the program signed by a cast member. They can get a signature of a cast member at the end of the production. The students that I have in my English IV and speech classes may attend a theatrical production each semester for extra credit. The process of signing in at the door and bringing back a program is also required of these students.
